About the UNA Small Business Development Center

Overview

The University of North Alabama Small Business Development Center offers free consulting services to current and prospective small business owners in the area. The Center is prepared to help nearly any type of small company or would-be enterpreneur.

Types of assistance include, but not limited to:

  • Reviewing and critiquing business plans
  • Assisting in the development of marketing plans
  • Loan Proposals/Packaging
  • Financial analysis
  • Identifying sources of financing
  • Recordkeeping systems
  • Managing cash flow
  • Developing new markets

The UNA-SBDC has an excellent business library of books, publications and videos. The libary is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
