Muscle Shoals Regional Center at the University of North Alabama

The Muscle Shoals Regional Center at the University of North Alabama is established to provide a forum for research, documentation, analysis, and discussion of matters relating to the development, conservation, and celebration of the Muscle Shoals Region’s cultural, economic, and natural heritage.

The Muscle Shoals Regional Center at the University of North Alabama will engage in activities related to the documentation, archival conservation and preservation, publishing (both web and print), regional economic modeling and development, program development related to the cultural, economic, and natural heritage of the region, and to the delivery of educational and training programs across broad academic disciplines. The Muscle Shoals Regional Center at the University of North Alabama will develop means to increase interaction between university and non-university constituencies in the region in the arts, humanities, public affairs, business and economic development, and other areas related to the region’s cultural, economic and natural heritage.
